Senior Manager - Brand and Marketing (Land)

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the day-to- day marketing of all destination experience-related activities, events and messaging for the brand in which they lead on, within the Red Sea Sports and Entertainment division.Experienced in both sports industry and consumer engagement, this organized and creative individual will enable the delivery and expression of our brand positioning, to achieve engagement and wider destination awareness. Establishing their brand and experiences both in the market and minds of the future guest, building upon this over time with the aim of growing global brand icons.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Associate Marketing Director to deliver the fully integrated brand and communications strategy, informed by the overall ambitions of the Red Sea Global business. Inspired by local, regional and global customer insight and understanding.
  • Activation of always-on marketing, briefing in campaigns to the specific channel owners (PR, CRM, Social, Digital Marketing, Influencers) to maximize promotional opportunities across a complex eco-system.
  • Delivery of specific multi-channel campaigns, continuously pursuing optimal impact and output in relation to all activity and spend.
  • Aligning with Marketing Managers and General Managers, across the wider destination portfolio to collaborate on mutually beneficial campaigns for both Red Sea Global and Amaala.
  • Management of brand partners and ambassadors, maximizing social reach and increase digital engagement.
  • Co-ordinate photo shoots and manage content creators, to deliver the agreed marketing plan and minimizing any impact on their daily operations.
  • Deliver the social content calendar, working with agencies and the Destination Marketing team to align on campaigns, as well as delivery of bespoke RSSE campaigns.
  • Support the Destination Development stakeholders and hotel partners to produce on-brand creative collateral that converts brand experiences to sales. E.g. menus, brochures, content. Briefing the design team on requirements and ensuring an efficient, agile process between functions.
  • Continuous consumer and market research, using insights to build into future campaign concepts.
  • Work with the Digital and Social teams to gather monthly traffic data, utilizing the insights to evolve our plans and brief in future content or channel requirements.
  • Support the Associate Marketing Director to secure marketing budget for activation of the RSSE campaigns. Track, report and analyze ROI of the expenditure, feeding into the wider Destination Development commercial insight reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a client or marketing agency organization, delivering effective marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in sports marketing or brand marketing working with both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Previous experience managing budgets and working within a matrix organization.
  • Delivered multi-channel campaigns and delivered marketing across brand eco-systems.
  • A passion for sports tourism, travel and destination experiences.
