JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of a Mobility Event Manager is to plan, coordinate, and execute events within the Red Sea Global (RSG)

airports, hotels, marinas, and other key locations.

Their primary objectives include:

• Effective Event Planning: Overseeing all planning aspects of mobility-related events, including translating

customer/guest requirements into executable mobility plans.

• Ensuring Operational Success: Managing logistics, budgets, and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth

and effective event execution.

• Gathering Insights: Collecting feedback and insights from all customers (internal and external) to inform

future events and strategies in mobility.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Working in a team and reporting to the Senior Manager, Mobility Events, the role will play a key role in delivering

highly visible and bespoke events within the RSG destination. The role will be accountable for;

  • Event Planning and Execution: Overseeing all aspects of mobility-related events, including planning, logistics, and execution to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to align event objectives and resources.
  • Budget Management: Ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • On-site Management: Ensuring smooth operations during events, including engagement, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Post-event Evaluation: Conduct assessments after events to gather feedback, measure success against objectives, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all events comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Providing detailed reports on event outcomes and overall impact to stakeholders.

• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure

that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate

and functional requirements, policies, and standards.

Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee

safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental

attitude.

• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems,

processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost

reduction and productivity improvement.

External - Event promoters, marketers and coordinators, Regulatory partners (Coast Guards), Security Services, Hotel Operators, Mobility Providers (e.g. Bus Rental Companies)

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Event Planning: 5+ years experience in planning and executing events, particularly in

mobility, transportation sectors. Experience in managing large scale events (more than

200 people) and/or those involving VVIP clientele.

• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously,

including quoting, logistics, and stakeholder coordination.

• Vendor Management: Proven track record in working with vendors, venues, and

suppliers to secure services and manage contracts.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with mobility trends, technologies, and key players in the

field is beneficial.

JOB CONTEXT

The role will be a key leadership role not just within the Events team but the Mobility Network Operations. They will be key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for planning, executing and reviewing events. This position is full time based at RSG project site.
