Manager - Environmental Compliance

Job Purpose

To ensure alignment of RSG project approved compliance and management systems with the Kingdom’s base law, RSG's strategic policy and good international industry practice.

Job Responsibilities - Leadership

Job Responsibilities - Functional

• Manages RSG corporate compliance programs, including execution of standard compliance protocols across RSG delivery teams. 
• Executes office-based compliance activities (such as audits, root cause analyses, corrective action and close out reporting, and follow up audit scheduling and logistics, etc.) of RSG as relevant to the Corporate Environmental Compliance Program. 
• Assist in managing the compliance team in delivery of outcomes-based information in accordance with the Corporate Environmental Compliance Program. 
• Supports in developing and coordinating the registers of compliance requirements applicable to RSG’s activities. 
• Ensures alignment between the corporate compliance function and the RSG Environmental and Social Management System. 
• Provides input into coordination aspects of RSG environmental and sustainability management programs including review of consultant and contractor work, as required.

Job Responsibilities - Organizational

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies and standards.

Safety, Quality and Environment
• Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the department's systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience

• Master’s degree or professional equivalent in an applicable discipline (Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Earth or Biological Science etc.) 
• Minimum experience of 10 years in an Environmental based role with career progression to a management level.
