Assistant Manager - Guest Relation

Role:

To oversee and standardize the interior service operations across the fleet of guest vessels, ensuring consistent, high-quality guest experiences. The role acts as a central liaison between the vessels and shore management for all matter relating interior and exterior service, provisioning, guest readiness, and crew training.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, train, and monitor SOPs and service standards across all vessels.
  • Inspect and audit vessels regularly to ensure excellent presentation, cleanliness, and guest readiness.
  • Liaise with Captains to coordinate turnarounds, provisioning, guest preferences, and special events or charters.
  • Manage procurement of supplies, uniforms, toiletries, and guest amenities.
  • Conduct onboarding, familiarization and training for new crew: maintain upskilling programs for service standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for shore-based requests and logistics (F&B, flowers, special provisions, etc.).
  • Coordinate with maintenance and provisioning departments to align timelines and standards.
  • Maintain records of guest feedback and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Support recruitment efforts for crew and assist in performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company policies.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Operations
  • Experience in luxury hospitality or 5-star service preferred
  • Training certifications. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and service standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Leadership in coaching and mentoring
  • Procurement and budget management experience
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Shore-based, with frequent onboard vessel trips
  • Dynamic environment requiring flexibility, confidentiality, and high service standards
  •  Responsible for the supply budget across all vessels
  •  Budget oversight for training and uniforms
