Technician - Construction

Job Purpose

To perform technical tasks and provide hands-on support in construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in performing construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation, as required.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Support the implementation of construction plans by following instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Monitor on-site activities to identify issues and report them to supervisors for resolution.
• Assist in testing and inspecting completed work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure materials and resources are available for assigned tasks.
• Provide technical assistance in installing, repairing, or modifying structures, components, and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, materials, and work progress for reporting purposes.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on construction experience in a technical role.

Skills : 

• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Hands-on skills in using construction tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
