Job Description
Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and monitoring to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans, establish timelines, and allocate resources effectively. The Planning Manager will also be responsible for identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Additionally, the candidate will be required to track project progress, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in project planning and management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic planning processes to ensure effective project management and timely delivery of objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and allocate resources efficiently.
- Monitor project timelines and milestones, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular project status meetings to communicate progress, address issues, and adjust plans as necessary.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of project activities.
- Analyze project performance data to evaluate outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and optimize processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the planning team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance planning methodologies and tools.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and organizational policies throughout the planning process.

Position Requirements
Qualification and Experience
A degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, along with 10 – 12 years relevant experience in planning and scheduling, is required for this role.
