Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, supplier shipment coordination, stock control, and distribution of materials and equipment across all operational locations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers for incoming shipments and delivery schedules.
  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
  • Organize and manage warehouse storage to ensure efficient utilization of space.
  • Coordinate with brand managers regarding stock planning and inventory control.
  • Monitor stock movements and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
  • Arrange deliveries and transfers of materials to all operational locations.
  • Prepare inventory, stock, and warehouse performance reports.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
  • Support procurement and operations teams with inventory information.
  • Maintain warehouse safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards.
  • Supervise warehouse staff and daily warehouse activities.

 

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

  • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.

 

Safety, Quality & Environment 

  • Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

 

Continuous Improvement  

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

 

Job Requirements:

 

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics within a similar operational environment.
  • Physically capable of handling warehouse activities, including occasional lifting, movement, and inspection of materials and equipment.
  • Proficiency in Excel is preferred.
