Specialist - Finance
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the aim of this role is to support the financial health and operational efficiency of the aviation company by managing
financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting. The Finance Specialist plays a key
role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with aviation standards, contributing to
strategic decision-making and cost control efforts.
Finance Specialist – Core Duty
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Processing invoices and expense claims.
• Track and analyze avia>on-specific costs such as fuel, maintenance, aircraA leasing, crew expenses, and insurance.
• Maintaining account ledgers and assis>ng in monthly closing.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile key accounts.
• Coordinate with procurement and opera>ons departments to control and report on expenditures.
• Performing vendor and bank reconcilia>ons.
• Support external audits and liaise with regulatory authori>es and banks as required.
• Contribute to the enhancement of financial processes and internal controls.
Recruitment and Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (Mandatory).
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA (Preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Prior experience as Accounts Payable Accountant and general ledger accounting.
• Strong knowledge in SAP ERP (Mandatory).
• Knowledge of IFRS and financial compliance standards.
• Proficient in MS excel.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
