Job Purpose
The primary objective set by The Red Sea Air Services Company to all Air Mobility Specialists is to ensure that all functions of the Airline are conducted in accordance with company SOPs and policies. The Air Mobility Specialist shall act as an AOC coordinator, provide administrative support, and be responsible for a range of duties that help promote efficient day-to-day operations. The role shall require scheduling deliveries and appointments, managing calendars, arranging meetings, and may serve as a liaison between several teams or departments.
The AOS position plans work, assigns tasks, provides priorities, trains, and checks the work of assigned staff, and is available to answer questions and troubleshoot problems on a daily basis.
Recruitment and Criteria
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certificate or diploma in hospitality advantageous.
- Proven 1 year of experience supervising a team in a customer-driven business or in a department
- coordination role.
- Proven 2 Years’ experience at the level of an Administrative Specialist including responsibility for
- accounting, budgets, personnel, purchasing, and report writing. One year of the experience must be in
- a lead or supervisory capacity.
- Equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered qualifying.
- Good working knowledge of all Airport / Airline, Hospitality, or Marine industry.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent command of the English language and Arabic language will be an advantage.
- Excellent computer skills (Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capacity to remain very discreet and ascertain confidentiality while handling a sensitive subject.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
- Good level of people and management skills.
- Good working knowledge of statutory and procedural obligations of the business including health and
- safety and security issues.
- A proven ability for problem-solving and decision-making experience.
- A good understanding of all regulatory and recommended procedures that relate to the airport
- environment.
- Self-motivated.
- KSA, EU Driving License (B) shall be considered an advantage
Job Responsibility
- In coordination with the Mobility Project Management team ensure milestones are identified and aligned with all project objectives
- and deadlines.
- Update/maintain Air Mobility policies, procedures, and contingency plans and ensure their compliance, consistency, and alignment
- with project-wide governance requirements. To strive at all times to provide an unforgettable guest experience.
- Attend and write MOM (if required) of Mobility design-related meetings to support the design, and development as well as weekly
- progress meetings with the senior management and provide progress updates.
- Be involved in project execution and contract administration (including KPI monitoring) of operators and OEM contracts during the
- operations phase for both The Red Sea Project and AMAALA.
- Follow up on the Air transport guest survey results (people’s happiness) and coordinate with the Seaplane Operations Team the
- necessary corrective measures (if necessary) to guarantee a great experience for guests and the workforce.
- Provides support to the AE by initiating and conducting department planning meetings concerning goals and objectives, strategies
- for annual budget preparation, policies, training schedules, and other issues; disseminates information regarding current TRSASC
- policies and procedures
- Organize and implement administrative systems and procedures performing necessary support duties as prescribed by the AE.
- Serves as the principal source of information on established Departmental policies and shall bring this forward for implementation to
- all relevant sections of the AOC.
- Draft, edit and prepare correspondence, reports, and other material using word processing, spreadsheets, and/or databases.
- Prepare meeting agendas, schedule department meetings, and distribute minutes.
- Follows up on actions decided by the staff in meetings; conducts staff meetings, staff development, and team building activities.
- The AMS shall prepare and maintain all AOC records (such as financial, personnel, administrative, and facilities) review complex
- documents, reports, etc., to assure compliance with TRSASC requirements and/or government regulations and notifies the AE of unusual situations.
- The AMS shall perform data collection, analysis, and report to AE for decision-making purposes.
- Assist AE in preparing and maintaining training/meeting materials, business presentations, and other department files.
- Draft letters, correspondence, memos, charts, documents, tables, graphs, and plans as requested by the AE.
- May arrange for use of facilities and advise availability of service within and outside the working environment for gatherings such as
- conferences, seminars, and training. Uses a pre-assigned budget; assigns and coordinates down, classroom, AV, and other facilities
- on behalf of AE; makes necessary HOTAC arrangements for all participants.
- May assist the AE in the preparation of Procurement documents (RFQ, RFP, RFA) and ensure on-time delivery of all operational
- equipment as an outcome of the Procurement methodology.
- May assist the AE in interviewing, training, scheduling, and distributing work to other team members.
- Embed The Red Sea Air Services Company Health and Safety culture.
- The AMS must have full knowledge of the Emergency Response Plan by action and structure of the plan.
- Motivate, engage, and develop an organizational culture that reflects the company`s values, supporting the recruitment, retention,
- and progression of a high-caliber workforce whilst acting as an Ambassador for The Red Sea Air Services Company in their
- professionalism and behavior.
- Any other duties that aim to the achievement of the department objectives within individual competencies.
