Job Purpose

Senior Project Manager [Landscape]

We're seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in landscaping at Red Sea Global Construction Management. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality or major building projects having worked for  top-tier contractors globally or reputable consultants and must have overseen the landscaping scope on major projects

Job Responsibilities - Functional

1. Project Management: Lead and manage landscaping projects from initiation to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and quality control.

2. Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to project teams, including landscape architects, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants, ensuring collaboration and adherence to project objectives.

3. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding landscaping-related matters, maintain regular communication, address concerns, manage expectations, and ensure overall client satisfaction.

4. Scope Management: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals.

5. Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage landscaping project budgets, monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to control costs while delivering high-quality landscaping solutions.

6. Schedule Adherence: Develop and maintain landscaping project schedules, track progress, identify critical path activities, and proactively manage timelines to meet project deadlines and milestones.

7. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes and procedures for landscaping installations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

8. Risk Management: Identify potential landscaping-related risks and issues, develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitor project performance to minimize disruptions and ensure successful project delivery.

Job Responsibilities - Organizational

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies and standards.

Safety, Quality and Environment
• Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the department's systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in project management within the landscaping scope, with a focus on hospitality or major buildings projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering landscaping projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Experience working with top-tier contracting companies or global consulting firms is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with landscaping-related project management software and tools.
• PMP certification or similar credentials are a plus.
