Job Purpose

To manage and oversee all fit-out works within construction projects, ensuring the successful execution of interior installations that meet project specifications, quality standards, and timelines while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all fit-out activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and client expectations.
  • Review and approve fit-out designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Supervise on-site fit-out works, including ceilings, flooring, partitions, joinery, and other interior finishes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth execution and resolution of fit-out-related issues.
  • Conduct inspections to verify the quality and progress of fit-out works and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and report fit-out progress, addressing potential delays and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support the procurement and timely delivery of fit-out materials and equipment.
  • Ensure fit-out activities align with the overall construction program and any contractual obligations.
  • Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports
  • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.
  • Safety, Quality & Environment
  • Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Continuous Improvement  
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department’s systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in fit-out project management or supervision.
  • Experience with high-end or luxury fit-out projects is preferred.
