Manager - Inventory and Master Data Management

Job Purpose

To plan, monitor, coordinate and manage, transacting, and data operations for the Supply Chain and Logistics department, including analysis and specification of needs and solutions. To monitor and operate the SC&L Control Tower.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership in data management activities such as designing data models or developing new data management practices
  • Ensuring that data is accurate by conducting audits and identifying trends that may indicate problems with data quality
  • Designing and implementing data management policies and procedures for an organization to ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Ensuring that data is available when needed by creating backups of existing data sets and storing them in another location
  • Developing a long-term strategy for data management within an organization based on the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Reviewing data sources to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within an organization
  • Creating guidelines for data structure within an organization to ensure consistency in how information is stored, organized, and accessed
  • Developing standards for storing and accessing data using tools such as relational databases and data warehouses
  • Developing and implementing processes for data governance such as data quality checks and data audits

 

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  • Recognized degree in Data Science, Analytics or Data Management related field (BSc preferred).
  • A minimum of 7 years in a supply chain and logistics operations field (preferred).
