JOB PURPOSE
The job holder will manage the Fleet Operations & Maintenance for Mobility team and ensure the fleet is optimally maintained and complies with corporate policies, branding guidelines, and local regulations/laws. The role will supervise a team of Technicians and maintenance employees in the Mobility section and will be an integral part of helping to build Fleet operations and maintenance facility with a focus on driving efficiency and consistency. The role serves as a consultant management on maintenance of fleet as recommended by manufacturers, thereby ensuring effective & efficient functioning of the department and a positive guest experience due to upkeep of fleet.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for ensuring high level accuracy of fleet maintenance information in operations system and ensures fleet records are prepared on time and accurately and available at any given point of time.
- Receive vehicles complains and assign/liaise with workshop suppliers for any repairs required.
- Monitor/Update Workshop Expenses Report, maintain vehicles History data & create / follow up on Purchase Requests (PRs) for repair replacement parts.
- Fleet Legality: Following with Expired legal documents i.e., registration, Local compliance and Insurance.
- Accident: Review and process vehicle accident and damage reports.
- Monitoring & Training: Monitoring vehicles on the road should have all tools and spare tire training, awareness to drivers regarding required safety & security measures.
- Professionally and accurately, responds to written and oral inquiries from employees, manager, regarding available fleet, maintenance records, track maintenance issues and resolves them on timely basis.
- Recommends and implements lean / efficient processes, new approaches, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Performs ongoing fleet maintenance budget monitoring, variances to ensure proactive and timely actions are taken to avoid budget overruns.
- Effectively collaborates with Manufacturers / Mobility Director and to improve fleet maintenance and positively impact the guest experiences.
- Leads and supervises the department in the fleet operations and maintenance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 6 years GCC experience and proven expertise in the automotive or transportation industry is preferable.
- Familiar with the process of coordination with the local authorities regarding fleet regulations
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a quick moving and change oriented environment
- Must be able to multi-tasking in a fast pace, high volume, environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs with a minimum of intermediate skills in Word, Excel and Outlook (skill level will be tested)
- Able to work in a highly collaborative environment with independence
