About the Role - To develop, oversee, support and manage the Subsidiary with various initiatives which include formulating budgets, providing financial analysis and projections to be used in decision-making and planning, and overseeing accounts payables and receivables.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Prepare and collate accurate reporting for senior management and external stakeholders relating to aspects of business performance.
- Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
- Work on Supply Chain & Logistics projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Preparation, upload and ongoing upkeep of budgets and forecasts in coordination with internal departments and stakeholders.
- Overall financial forecast, cash flows, funding requirements, and cost of capital, and conduct internal studies in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
- Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as directed from time to time.
- Maintain all records for easy audit purposes.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports and presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.
- Manage activities of accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accounts are administered in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, commerce, or related degree.
- Professional accounting or finance qualification ie CPA, SOCPA, CA, CFA, ACCA etc.
- Knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.
- No less than 5+ years total experience, including 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or other operational organizations.
- Experience in dynamic high-volume transactional environment.
- Experience with SAP S/4 Hana and SAP Cloud Analytics (SAC) preferred.
