Job Purpose

  • AD Catering and laundry will support the SD Central Services to implement the operational delivery for all RSG/Amaala catering and laundry services. The current scope will cover Amaala and Red Sea staff accommodation canteens and laundry distribution areas serving in the region of 100,000 daily meals.  
  • The candidate will manage the sub-contractor service delivery and ensure a smooth service, food safety standards, waste streaming and sustainability guidelines are being met along with overseeing the ordering &, reconciliation of invoices is correct.  This role focuses on front of house delivery. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategy development –implementation of the long-term Catering and Laundry operations strategy and property level planning to ensure alignment and realization of RSG goals.
  • Visioneering – Collaborate with subject matter experts, project delivery and property operators to create new business opportunities, initiatives and lead creative problem-solving workshops to address pain points / capitalize on opportunities. 
  • Budgeting and business planning – oversee the ordering procedures, delivery of goods, operational delivery of food and laundry services across the 16 main canteen buildings in the staff villages plus ancillary operations such as Yacht clubs/ schools and healthcare 
  • New projects & planning – conduct detailed studies to evaluate new projects and opportunities, develop detailed presentations and reports for senior management review and investment approvals. 
  • Governance & Excellence: Oversee strategy, goal setting, business excellence and continuous process improvement within the hospitality operations scope of work to ensure organization wide alignment and achievement of goals.   
  • Performance management – review performance of existing projects and assets and develop strategic plans and initiatives to enhance performance. 
  • Change Management: implement change management initiatives to drive employee engagement, awareness campaigns and smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
     

Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in operational delivery across multiple catering end user requirements  execution planning, change management and financial analysis with at least 5-7 years’ experience supporting and guiding senior decision makers. 
  • 5 years of laundry experience and a good understanding of automatic laundry dispense systems
  • Possess strong business and financial acumen which enables success in the strategic & commercial objectives of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with people across all levels. 
  • Be a visionary leader who inspires trust, leading others with excellent stakeholder management skills.
