JOB PURPOSE
The Manager – Staff Village Mobility Planning and Operations is responsible for overseeing the transportation services within the AMAALA Staff Village (ASV). This includes planning, coordinating, and ensuring the seamless operation of transport services that connect ASV residents to their work-bound transportation and within the village itself. The manager will ensure that transit buses and buggies, operating 24/7, meet safety, efficiency, and service quality standards. The role requires strategic leadership in addressing operational challenges, improving services, and ensuring a consistent and high-quality mobility experience for all staff residents.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Management of Mobility Services
- Oversee the daily operations of all transport services within the Staff Village, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Manage transport schedules for buses and buggies, ensuring coverage and on-time arrivals for all shifts.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager to resolve any operational challenges such as roadblocks, weather conditions, or incidents affecting service delivery.
- Service Level Achievement
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and operational standards.
- Regularly monitor performance against SLAs, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and do not impact service continuity.
- Leadership & Team Supervision
- Lead and supervise a team of mobility Specialists, drivers, and other support staff.
- Ensure all team members are well-trained, follow safety procedures, and maintain high standards of customer service and operational performance.
- Address staffing issues, including resource shortages or scheduling conflicts, to maintain service delivery.
- Customer Service & Issue Resolution
- Act as the primary point of contact for any internal or external customer complaints or issues related to mobility services.
- Resolve transport-related complaints swiftly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the workforce's daily routines.
- Foster a high level of customer service across the team, promoting a positive experience for all Staff Village residents.
- Operational Data & Reporting
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on transport service performance, fleet utilization, and customer feedback.
- Analyze data to forecast fleet requirements and optimize resource allocation, helping to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager to adjust schedules, routes, and fleet capacity as required.
- Compliance and Safety Monitoring
- Ensure that all transport services comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Oversee routine audits and quality checks to maintain standards of cleanliness, vehicle condition, and safety.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly, taking necessary corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Strategic Planning and Service Improvements

- Lead initiatives to improve mobility services within the Staff Village, proposing and implementing new systems, processes, or technologies.
- Work closely with management to align transport services with operational needs and overall project goals.
- Identify potential risks or operational challenges and implement proactive solutions to mitigate them.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least 6 years of experience in transport or mobility operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a quick moving and change oriented environment
- Must be able to multi-tasking in a fast pace, high volume, environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs with a minimum of intermediate skills in Word, Excel and Outlook (skill level will be tested)
- Able to work in a highly collaborative environment with independence
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate based on needs of VIP chauffeur driver.

- Demonstrated experience/maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Possess a positive, service-oriented attitude with excellent follow through on issues
