Job Purpose 

Manage and execute sales strategies and activities across the destination, with a focus on driving ticket sales, 

group bookings, partnerships, and special events. The Manager – Sales will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, maintaining strong client relationships, and coordinating sales efforts with marketing and operations teams to ensure consistent guest growth and experience. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

1.  Lead day-to-day sales operations and drive revenue targets. 

2.  Manage relationships with B2B clients, tour operators, and corporate groups. 

3.  Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotional offers. 

4.  Coordinate with marketing for aligned messaging and campaigns. 

5.  Analyze sales data and generate performance reports. 

6.  Support the development of sales tools, packages, and materials. 

7.  Supervise sales staff and provide performance feedback. 

8.  Ensure CRM systems are updated and utilized effectively. 

9.  Represent SED in trade shows, expos, and client meetings. 

10. Monitor market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly. 

 

Managerial Responsibilities 

1. Provide input to the Department’s strategy from the Section or Unit perspective, in alignment with the destination's vision and mission. 

2. Develop the Section or Unit’s objectives, KPIs, and annual operational plans, ensuring implementation meets performance targets. 

3. Contribute to the Section or Unit’s budget preparation and monitor financial performance. 

4. Implement and ensure adherence to Section or Unit policies and procedures; oversee performance and KPI communication. 

5. Ensure effective staffing, development, and deployment of Section or Unit employees in coordination with higher management. 

 

Job Requirements 

Academic Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 

Years of Experience 

8 years (with 2+ years in managerial role) in entertainment, tourism, or 

hospitality sectors.
