Instructor
Job Purpose
The Instructor (Mountain Bike) plays a pivotal role in delivering The Red Sea’s inland adventure program. This position requires a highly skilled and motivated outdoor professional with a strong passion for mountain biking and outdoor activities. The role is responsible for leading guests through premium adventure experiences, including world-class biking trails and a range of complementary activities such as trekking and climbing. The successful candidate will ensure all experiences are delivered safely, consistently, and to the highest standards of quality, creating memorable moments that reflect The Red Sea’s commitment to excellence and environmental stewardship.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead guests on exceptional mountain biking experiences and a variety of inland adventure activities (e.g., trekking, climbing, archery, high ropes, quad biking).
- Support the development and maintenance of unique mountain biking and E-gravel trails across The Red Sea.
- Deliver engaging pre-activity briefings and ensure guest safety throughout all experiences.
- Educate guests on responsible outdoor practices and environmental conservation.
- Apply and maintain safety protocols, including first aid readiness, emergency planning, and risk assessments.
- Provide outstanding customer service aligned with Red Sea Global’s luxury standards.
- Assist with trip planning, equipment preparation, and light maintenance of bikes and gear.
- Monitor weather conditions and adapt plans to ensure safety and guest satisfaction.
- Contribute to trail exploration and route optimization for premium guest experiences.
- Support training and mentoring of adventure specialists and peers.
- Utilize GPS and digital tools for navigation and reporting.
- Follow company SOPs and RAMS for all activities.
- Provide feedback to Senior Instructor and RSSE management for continuous improvement.

- Adhere to all relevant functional policies, processes, and SOPs to ensure consistent and controlled operations.
- Assist in preparing accurate and timely reports to meet corporate and functional requirements.

- Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies to ensure compliance, guest safety, and responsible environmental practices.
- Take action when you see the standards not being met.

- Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and practices, aligning with international best practices and improving guest experience.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor in relevant feald
- Wilderness First Aid Certification or equivalent from an internationally recognized provider.
- Basic land navigation skills, including GPS usage and natural navigation.
- Leave No Trace training.
- Search Tracking & Operations training.
- Mountain Bike Leader certification (MIAS/ABMG/PMBIA/MTBA Level 2 or equivalent).
- Trekking/Mountain Leader training (IFMGA/UIAA/BMC preferred).
- Additional NGB certifications in climbing, archery, high ropes, or quad biking.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience leading mountain bike and multi-activity adventures for mixed age groups.
- Experience in Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
