Job Purpose:

  • To lead, grow and optimize all Residential Marketing corporate and destination Digital Channels and Platforms through the development of engaging content and the running of successful digital campaigns that meet or exceed specific business objectives of a particular time and budget.
  • Working closely with the PR & Communications, Marketing, Events, Trade and Smart Destination teams to ensure messaging, branding and audience targeting, engagements and conversions are supported across all corporate and destination digital touchpoints.

 

Job Responsibilities - Leadership

 

Strategic Contribution

  • Direct the implementation of the annual business plan and targets and implement the strategic agenda of the Digital Marketing function to deliver the RSG vision, mission and business objectives.
  • Ensure that the Digital Marketing strategy for both the corporate brand (RSG) and the destination brand are translated into operational business plans for Social Media Channels, Website Platforms, Content Creation and digital Marketing Campaigns and monitor the performance and execution of those plans in order to achieve functional objectives and deliver the company’s strategy.
  • Play a leading role on the Tourism Services component of RSG’s smart destination strategy.

 

Leadership

  • Direct the activities of the Digital Marketing team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, in line with the strategic project management plans, policies and procedures.
  • Build and lead a motivated, engaged and competent team, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the functional challenges and goals, building effective succession planning 
  • Serve as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to RSG  vision, mission, values, fundamentals and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated human resources, and continuously improve performance.

 

Budget 

  • Lead the preparation of the functional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

 

 

Job Responsibilities - Functional

 

Digital Marketing

  • Develop, launch and optimize marketing campaigns for RSG and the destination  brand  via social media channels, display advertising, search engine marketing (SEM) and remarketing to meet the objectives of the specific campaign – such as reach (awareness), consideration (engagement) and conversion (sales).
  • Work with media agencies to develop optimal digital marketing plans that are executed in a timely fashion and are measured in detailed reports to meet or exceed KPIs set.
  • Execute and monitor digital marketing plans to increase RSG  and the destination brand website page views, unique visitors, dwell time and site “stickiness” to encourage repeat usage.
  • Upload and boost posts concerning ongoing projects by targeting a specific audience channel (defined by age, interest and location) on different social media platforms, use fan acquisition ads, engagement tactics, google ads, youtube ads and interact with the audience to enhance RSG marketing presence.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing key performance indicators such as website visits, social media followers reached, post engagements and conversions.

 

Social Media Channels

  • Manage the corporate identity by sharing interesting and engaging business facts, business activity, corporate social responsibility projects etc. to expose different aspects of RSG.
  • Ensure that the Social Media channels team is responding to all audience requests and questions in a consistent way and with reliable information to ensure a proper image for RSG.
  • Analyze and report the impact of digital activities on brand awareness through defining the ROI of social media campaigns by identifying the number of audience target through social media platforms that show interest in RSG. 
  • Analyze key performance indicators related to social media, reveal areas of unsatisfactory results, and implement action plans to enhance the results.
  • Prepare monthly reports regarding audience engagements and comments related to the company and the destination, work on introducing new topics in order to create more interactivity between the audience and RSG and/or the destination brand.
  • Monitor the engagement of social media influencers performance and ensure that their content is consistent and aligned with corporate and destination business objectives.
  • valuate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoint in order to enhance social media experience and attract more audiences.

 

Digital content development

  • Develop with in-house digital content and creative teams and third party agencies innovative animations (motion graphic, infographic, GIF, VR, AR) regarding different topics ( destination, environment, corporate etc.) in order to present differentiated content on social media and in public spaces to generate more audience engagements.
  • Create ongoing hero, hot and newsroom video content with Digital Content team to post on social media channels with the aim of maximizing engagements while supporting business objectives.
  • Oversee all corporate video and photo production of staff and staff events.
  • Create required visual assets for all digital platforms to ensure visitor interest is maximized.

 

 

Responsibilities - Organizational:

 

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards and Reports

  • Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely functional MIS statements and reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies and standards.

 

Safety, Quality & Environment

  • Apply safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Digital Marketing function systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

 

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or any related field
  • Master’s or MBA (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in a similar position with 8 to 10 years in a managerial position
